Thai Fare is a flavourful, health conscious food choice which uses steamed jasmine rice, noodles, fresh vegetables, imported herbs and spices, as well as your choice of market fresh seafood, beef, pork, chicken, tofu or an array of vegetables. Thai food flavours run from sweet, salty, sour, savoury and spicy, sometimes all at once, and can be catered to the diners individual taste. Lemongrass opened its doors for the first time in 2004 in Saint John’s historic Brodie Building on Princess St. After 5 grand years in the Brodie Building, the decision was made to relocate to the Historic Saint John Boardwalk to become neighbours with some of Saint John’s best and most enduring restaurants. We added Saint John’s only year round, heated, enclosed three tiered patio and continued to build upon our reputation for diverse and authentic Thai fare.
We also expanded our reach by adding “Peppers Pub… The Little Pub with a Big Deck” into our operation. Peppers features a unique pub menu and boasts live entertainment from local, national, and international artists weekly.
At Lemongrass, we strongly support local business and use local produce whenever possible. We strive to accommodate any and all dietary choices and also have a gluten free menu. Speak to your server about any specific needs you may have. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt the majority of our cuisine into wonderful vegetarian offerings. This ability provides Saint Johners with the best selection of vegetarian options.
We also use many ingredients that are good for your soul. Turmeric, lemongrass, lime leaves, garlic, ginger and our personal favourite – Chilies!
